Sonko’s video on Bill Gates virus warning hits 36m views
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s Facebook page post on the coronavirus awareness has gone viral with 36 million views and one million shares globally.
Sonko is a well-known political figure internationally especially for his controversial political views, which has given him a massive following politically locally and also in on social media.
Currently, his official Facebook page has over two million followers.
Lately, the Governor has been using the platform to educate members of the public about the coronavirus pandemic and other social matters.
The recent post made a week ago on the Coronavirus pandemic, has emerged as among the most viewed posts in the world gaining 36 million views, one million shares, 302,000 likes and 63,000 comments, and more than 73 million reach.
Sonko’s Facebook page is the most liked among politician’s official accounts in Kenya and East Africa, followed by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s page and Deputy President William Ruto’s account respectively.
