Here are funny memes on how people will get to ‘Canaan’
For days, reference to the Biblical Canaan has been the source of witty memes and posts on social media.
This is after Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga likened himself to Joshua who will deliver Kenyans to the ‘promised land’..
“If you vote for Jubilee, you will remain in Egypt; but if you vote for Nasa, we will take you to Canaan.” Mr Odinga told a crowd at one of his campaign rallies.
Online wags have turned the Biblical symbolism as a of memes of how Kenyans will arrive in Canaan or the good things to look forward to in the ‘promised land’.
Here are a few memes that people have been sharing online.
