The inauguration of President Uhuru Kenyatta for his second term will lack some protocols often witnessed when power changes hands from an incumbent to a president-elect.
Mr Kenyatta is expected to take his oath of office at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani, in the presence of thousands of people who streamed into the stadium as early as 2am.
