Five injured after car ploughs into revelers at popular city entertainment spot
Two people are fighting for their lives after a vehicle lost control and ploughed into revelers and vendors at 1824 club along Lang’ata road on Thursday last night.
According to the police, the two victims suffered fractured bones while three more people were left nursing minor injuries.
The driver of the car arrested after the incident and is due to appear in court on Friday afternoon.
A video clip that has been shared on social media shows two people, a man and a woman lying in a pool of blood in front of a dented Prado believed to be outside the popular joint.
In the clip, a man seen seen lying motionless on the ground with his legs in an awkward position while a woman is seen wreathing in pain and crying.
Someone can be heard urging her not to move.
The injured were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and are currently receiving treatment, the police said.
