Fire destroys part of alcohol plant

A huge fire burnt down a section of an alcohol blending plant located along Mombasa road.

Nairobi firefighters battled the huge blaze at the plant owned by Africa Spirits Limited.

Employees say everyone was evacuated from the building , with  some taken to Mariakani hospital with minor burns.

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko arrived at the scene shortly after the fire had been managed, accompanied by government officials.
