Kate Actress gets people talking with debut ‘Ndoa’ single
Actress Catherine Kamau popularly known as Kate Actress has created a buzz after she released her debut song.
The song titled “Ndoa” is a collaboration between her and gospel singer Mr Seed.
Ndoa is Swahili for marriage and the song talks about getting married and captures the special day between a couple in love.
“Mr SEED ft KATE … You dared this girl, she Went and did her thing ?#NDOA,” posted Kate Actress on her social media platforms.
Speaking to Nairobi News on phone, Kate explained that singing has always been something she had wanted to do but never had the courage before to go for it.
“I have always had a passion for music but it was something I put at the back of my mind. However, people close to me dared me to faced my fears and go for it and I am glad for their encouragement and support,” she said.
The song, she said, is just the beginning and is looking into releasing more solo productions and collaborations.
“I will still be acting, it is not that I am replacing one with the other. I am an artist and I keep reinventing myself,” explained Kate Actress.
