I have lost 4kg in one week – Jahmby Koikai

Media personality Jahmby Koikai has been feeling under the weather after developing a new medical condition that has seen her lose significant weight in just a week.

Koikai posted on her Instagram page that she was feeling much better now even though she lost 4kg last week after suffering from Adenomyosis.

“After a week of battling intermittent bleeding due to Adenomyosis, I woke up feeling way better today. I’m recovering from Thoracic and Pelvic Endometriosis as I battle Adenomyosis at the same time,” she wrote.

Adenomyosis is a condition in which the inner lining of the uterus (the endometrium) breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus (the myometrium).

“I’m breathing better, and my body is ready to restore itself. I’ve lost 4kgs in a week, which I now have to regain and achieve my advised weight goal,” Koikai added.

Further, she indicated that she was happy with the progress she was making health-wise.

“Replenish lost blood through eating. Finally, I’m hungry without nausea, which is a good sign. I can also take a break from burning my tummy with a hot water bottle,” she said.

The reggae emcee is optimistic she will be better within no time.

“God works in mysterious ways that we’ll never understand. Even this Adenomyosis, will be a thing of the past. Time to rest and replenish,” she posted.

The media celebrity returned to Kenya after undergoing treatment in the United States for more than a year after flying out to Atlanta in February 2018.

Jahmbi (real name Njambi) Koikai underwent a series of surgeries and complications since she was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 29.
