Firm launches GPS tracker for bodabodas


Bodabodas can now breath easy after STrack Kenya Ltd launched a low cost GPS tracker.

The tracker offers solution to the theft of Bodabodas, hijackings and killing of riders.

It will retail at Sh5,000, exclusive of taxes and installation charges.

“The purchase of a motorcycle tracker is a onetime cost and does not come with recurring service charges typically associated with tracking companies in Kenya,” said STrack Kenya General Manager Ms Judith Pavel.

The product has been launch in the midst of ballooning number of motorcycles in the country.

 According to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics 125,058 motorcycles were sold, a 33 per cent increase from the previous year.
