Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp users hit by massive outage

Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are currently inaccessible to users worldwide.

Facebook and Instagram are both inaccessible, with news feeds refusing to refresh.

The Facebook outage started early on Sunday, as fans flooded rival social media sites saying they couldn’t login.

WhatsApp messages aren’t being sent or received, and users of Facebook’s main services have headed to Twitter to share that they’re having issues.

Thousands of people have reported outages in the last hour with pages either not loading, or users unable to post.

WORST OUTAGE

The outages comes just a month after Facebook experienced its worst outage ever.

Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram were all inaccessible for hours last month, with Facebook blaming a “server configuration change,” and apologized for the outages.

Facebook responded on Twitter after people had noticed the outage.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible,” they tweeted.

The company last suffered a massive outage in November 2018.
