Eight Sunshine School students in court for attempted arson
Eight students from Sunshine Secondary School in Nairobi have been arraigned over attempts to burn a building at the school on Friday night.
The students were arrested on Friday and detained at the Lang’ata Police Station.
The students are seeking an out-of-court settlement, saying the criminal case procedure would victimise them more.
However, the prosecution is insisting on a full trial. A ruling on the case will be made at 2pm.
