Drunk city DCI officer arrested after insulting OCS in the village

A detective attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Nairobi was on Monday arrested for insulting two women and a senior police officer in Kehancha police station, Migori county.

A police report says Mr Francis Gichogo Mwita, who was on a drinking spree, was arrested for causing disturbance and hurling unprintables on two women identified as Happiness Wambura and Habuba Hamisi.

The DCI officer did not spare the OCS Kehancha police station who had intervened, bragging that he was well connected and could effect his transfer from the station.

“He abused the OCS of being a fool and there was nothing that he could do to him. He even threatened of being able to initiate transfer of the Ocs at once,” read the report filed under OB number 21/21/04/2019.

It was after the OCS had effected his arrest that he introduced himself as a police attached to DCI headquarters Nairobi.
