Duale to Cord: You must listen to Uhuru in silence

National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale says President Uhuru Kenyatta must be listened to in silence when he addresses Parliament on Thursday afternoon.

Duale has also warned that those who will attempt to disrupt the presidential address will be thrown out of the House and disciplinary action taken against them.

While addressing a press conference in Parliament on Thursday morning, Duale added that the government is aware of plans to hold demonstration around Parliament when the President is making the address.

MPs drawn from the opposition earlier in the week threatened to boycott the president’s state of the nation address.
