Is Dorian Marian on his way out of AFC Leopards?

Dorian Marian’s reign as AFC Leopards coach could end even before it formally starts, Nairobi News has reliably learnt.

According to multiple sources within the club, the Romanian coach is already on his way out after falling out with the a number of senior players at the den.

He is set to be replaced by the club’s former captain Tom Juma on an interim basis.

Astonishingly, Nairobi News has gathered, Marian was yet to be officially contracted by the club even though he took charge of the team in two fixtures.

He was in charge of the team during the SportPesa Super Cup final’s 3-0 loss to Gor Mahia in Tanzania, as well as the barren draw at home to Mathare United in a league match last Saturday.

‘PART WAYS’

“He (Marian) has already fallen out with a couple of players and it’s in both parties best interests that we part ways. It’s easier because he was yet to formally sign the contract,” a Leopards official told Nairobi News off the record.

Marian’s tipping point was the publicised scuffle he had with Andrew Tololwa during the game against Mathare.

Tololwa was seen snubbing the coach’s handshake and shrugging his shoulders after he was withdrawn late in the second half.

Marian was brought in to replace Englishman Stewart Hall who walked out of the club in June while citing among other, poor working conditions at the club.
