Don Moen, Lenny Leblanc to perform in Kenya in May


Celebrated gospel musicians Don Moen and Lenny LeBlanc will visit Kenya for the first time next month in what is expected to be a thrilling a two-week worship music extravaganza.

The duo will first perform at the KPA Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa on Mombasa on 1st and 2nd May from 6 p.m till 9 p.m. hosted by the International Christian Centre, Mombasa.

Advance tickets for the Mombasa event will cost Sh1,000 and Sh1,500 at the gate. Those who want VIP experience will fork out Sh2000.

Mombasa tickets are available at ICC Mombasa offices at KT Plaza opposite Tuskys Bandari, Keswick Mombasa on Nkurumah Road, Scripture Union Mombasa, Nyali Baptist Church, ACK Memorial Cathedral Mombasa and Crossroads Fellowship Church, Nyali.

“It’s gonna be two great nights of worship again…I’m looking forward to seeing you there,” said Don Moen in a video invite to the Mombasa event.

NAIROBI SHOW

The worship gurus will then perform in Nairobi the following weekend, Friday May 8 and Saturday 9, at the Nairobi Baptist Church, according to a Facebook poster put up by the church on Sunday.

The Nairobi events will kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets for the Nairobi event will cost a flat rate of Sh2,500.

Don Moen is an American singer, songwriter, and producer of Christian worship music.

His first album under his own name, Worship with Don Moen, was released in 1992. His music has total global sales of over five million units.

On his part, Lenny LeBlanc is an American musician and songwriter, half of the music duo LeBlanc and Carr.
