American Grammy award winner Dj Diplo, creator of some of the biggest global pop hits, and MØ, a Danish song writer and rising star, are keen on collaborating with Kenyan artistes through Tuborg Open.

The two have worked together on the Stay Open track, and have invited artistes around the world to rewrite the verses to tell the story of what being ‘Open To More’ means to them.

Tuborg, a Danish lager brand, has announced the return of their music campaign Tuborg Open, which this year will see the pairing of Dj Diplo and MØ in creating collaboration tracks with artistes from around the world.

According to Carlsberg Marketing Manager Renee Kamau, the two music stars are excited about the opportunity to work with local artistes and give them a platform to collaborate with International talent.

“For me, the journey you go on to get to the finished product is often the best bit. By being open to new influences, you mix together things that you think will never fit but sometimes, it really works well. I love what you learn and experience from doing that and watching the track you had at the start become something totally different,” said MØ.

Diplo added, “It fits the campaign perfectly and the artists from around the world are already coming to us with ideas of how they want to change it up and add their own perspective to the idea of staying open which is the really cool bit of the project.”

The campaign will culminate with a live gig featuring Dj Diplo and MØ as well as some of the local artistes later this year.
