Diamond Platinumz reaches out to Willy Paul for a collabo

Tanzania’s bongo flava finest Diamond Platinumz has asked Kenyan gospel singer Willy Paul to look for him if he is still interested in doing a collabo.

Willy Paul has been an admirer of Diamond’s music and had sometime last year confessed of his desire to do a collabo with the bongo flava musician.

Diamond at the time backed off the proposal after criticisms from different quarters. But he has now opened out to the idea.

“I haven’t been in contact with Willy Paul for a while now, but I have been following keenly what he has been up to. Willy is one person who regards me highly and appreciates my music, I acknowledge that.

“Since he came up with the idea of the two of us to do a collaboration, he is yet to reach me with any kind of a proposal. All I want to say is that he should not hesitate to look for me if he is still interested in the idea.

“We are all East African musicians and we should thrive to work together and take this region’s music to the next level,” Diamond told a Kenyan radio entertainment talk show.

Diamond is currently  riding high with hit songs ‘Nitampata Wapi’ and ‘Nasema Nawe’ and his just recently released collabo ‘Mapenzi Pesa’ featuring rapper Nay Wa Mitego.
