Tycoon loses his gun over office lock shooting saga
Police have impounded a handgun belonging to a Nairobi tycoon who allegedly shot his way into an office block.
Businessman Raj Harikrishna Devani is said to have arrived at the Shimmers building in Westlands and when he found it locked, he whipped out the gun and fired, shattering the glass front door, police said.
Mr Devani’s lawyer Robinson Kigen, however, said the gun had gone off accidentally when Mr Devani arrived at Shimmers on Monday morning.
