DCI arrest robbery with violence suspect, recover 80 bullets
Detectives based at Githurai Kimbo have arrested a robbery with violence suspect.
The suspect Godfrey Omondi Ogola and two others, who are on the run, had carjacked a motorist at Kizito area and later abandoned him in Syokimau, after robbing him.
“The trio later hijacked another victim at Mlolongo where they robbed him of his vehicle and used it to get away,” the DCI said.
The vehicle was traced with the assistance of the suspect and is currently detained as the search for his accomplices continues.

During the arrest, detective recovered 80 rounds of ammunition designed for use with Smith and Wesson revolver after searching the suspect’s residence within Lindi Area in Kibera.

The suspect together with two others who are still on the run were reported to have Carjacked their victim at Kizito Area where they stole his personal effects and later abandoned him together with his car at Syokimau area.
