Court extends order on Governor Kidero, wife’s bank account
High Court judge Joseph Odunga on Tuesday extended an order barring the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (Eacc) from investigating a Commercial Bank of Africa account held by Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and his wife Susan Mboya.
The order was extended until the matter will be heard on June 20.
The orders had earlier been issued by the same judge when the two filed a suit claiming that no search warrant was issued yet a Magistrate court went ahead to order that the said account be investigated.
The two also claimed that some crucial court documents were wrongly removed from the case file.
Governor Kidero and Ms Mboya’s lawyer Ochieng Oduol want the officer involved with the alleged tempering of court documents from the case file be cross examined over his actions.
