Irate commuters eject Alfred Mutua’s supporter from bus – VIDEO

The ugly side of Kenya’s politics was best captured in a shocking video shot in a matatu in which a male supporter of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua was ejected from a matatu by female supporters of Wiper party’s gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti.

In the undated video, two women shout at the man, telling him to alight because he is a traitor who does not deserve to ride with them in the matatu.

In the recording, other passengers, some male, can also be heard in the background supporting that the man alights.

One of the irate women, identified as Rozinna Kanini, a supporter of Wiper party, even gives the matatu conductor money to refund the man’s fare.

“What is Chap Chap. You look like Nyenze. Alight from this matatu, here is his fare refund and get him out,” says one of the women.

‘POLITICS OF 2022’

The man can be heard defending himself; “I was talking about the politics of 2022, not this year.”

The women cut him short shouting at the conductor; “Get this man out of the matatu. Give him his fare back. Get him out.”

“Why are you disrespecting Kalonzo? Get out. Wavinya is the governor. Get out. If you want more fare money we will give you but you have to go. You can’t disrespect our leader,” the women shout.

The man tries to calm them down saying he has heard them adding; “We are talking about 2022.”

The women respond; “2022 it will be Kalonzo’s turn.”

“Heard you saying Mutua has worked, I want you to tell me what he has done with all the monies allocated to Machakos County. There are no drugs in hospitals, get out,” the women shout.

The other commuters urge the conductor to give the man his fare back while telling the man to respect women.
