Comedian Njugush puts jokes aside to wed fiancé in Runda

Popular comedian Timothy Kimani, aka Njugush, on Friday shed off his comical character to wed his fiancé Celestine Ndinda.

The lovebirds celebrated their union with family and friends at the PCEA Evergreen church in Runda, with a reception held at the same venue.

Njugush, who features in the TV series Real househelps of Kawangware, met with Ms Ndinda at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.

Ms Ndinda wore an off-white mermaid gown, as the groom went for a grey tuxedo that matched his best man and film director Abel Mutua.

Mr Mutua and his wife  – who wedded in November 2015 – were the best couple in the grey themed wedding.

Njugush has in the past narrated how Ms Ndinda stuck by him when he was broke, including a failed attempt to break up with her when he couldn’t get a job.

The two concluded the traditional marriage ceremonies in August after Njugush paid his wife-to-be’s dowry.
