Coaches set up funds committee for ailing Matano

A medical fund committee chaired by Kenya Football Coaches Association (Kefoca) Chairman Ricky Solomon has been formed to mobilize funds for the ailing Ulinzi Stars head coach Robert Matano.

Matano, who has been diagnosed with kidney complications, is currently admitted at Nairobi’s Coptic Hospital.

The committee’s members include Gilbert Selebwa, Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee, Francis Kimanzi, Austin Odour, Aziz Atitwa, Shadrack Ateka, Habil Nanjero, Richard Madegwa and Yakubu Ibrahim.

A two-time league winner, Matano is one of the most senior coaches in the country who has previously handled Tusker, AFC Leopards and Sofapaka.
