City residents to sample fine dining during Nairobi restaurant week


More than a dozen restaurants in Nairobi will have special menu options for lunch and dinner as the Nairobi restaurant week kicks off on Thursday.

The annual event celebrates fine dining at an affordable price in participating restaurants.

It will commence on Thursday and run till February 5 in over 10 restaurants in the city.

Two-course menus will be available for lunch at only Sh950 or three-course menus at Sh1,950. This will include a complimentary beverage per person.

Some restaurants will offer a five-course dinner option at Sh3,950 that will include a complimentary beverage. Prices are inclusive of taxes.

Participating restaurants will offer a minimum of two choices for each course. Each restaurant will have at least one vegetarian option per course.

A wine menu will be available by Wines of the World (WOW) beverage to accompany their set menus.

The restaurants’ full beverage menu will also be available to guests.

Participating restaurants include Adega, Amber Hotel, Arbor, Argenti, Artcaffe Grand, Artisan at Sankara, Bangkok, Brew Bistro & Lounge Rooftop, Cheka, Concord, Curragh Irish Pub, Golden Spur
Jiko at Tribe, Nyama Mama, Ocean Basket, Royal Kitchen, Secret Garden, Tandoori Patio, Tapas Bar
and the Wine Shop.
