Yemi Alade features Sauti Sol in new hit
Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade has featured Kenyan all-male band Sauti Sol in her new hit released on Tuesday.
Yemi, popular for her Swahili translation of her hit Na Gode, incorporated Sauti Sol in a hit whose lyrics and voices blended well.
The new hit titled Africa is shot in a vast area with a magnificent waterfall in the background.
The video also features clips of various streets and iconic towers in African cities as well as photos of renowned leaders who struggled for independence.
WELL-CHOREOGRAPHED
Yemi’s move to patronize Africa in new hit follows after Sauti Sol completed their world tour of an album dubbed Live and Die in Afrika.
The lyrics in the album’s main song matching those in Yemi’s latest that there is nowhere better than Africa.
The video has however been criticized for lacking the usual Yemi dance moves with some fans saying that it should have incorporated well-choreographed African dance moves.
