Timmy Tdat rejects MP’s plea to have music video featuring his daughter edited

Controversial rapper Timmy Tdat is demanding double compensation from a Kenyan Member of Parliament, whose daughter has been featured in his soon-to-be released music video.

According to Mseto East Africa, one of the vixens used in the video is the daughter of a prominent legislator whose identity remains anonymous.

It is understood that after having a snippet of the video, the said MP reached out to the Kasabun rapper asking him to edit out the parts in which his law student daughter features.

However, it is said the rapper, who some few weeks ago caused social media uproar for exposing a woman’s underwear on stage, rejected the MP’s plea, unless he is compensated substantively for the time and money he spent on doing the video.

Timmy is quoted saying he will go on with his plans to release the music video as scheduled if the said MP fails to meet his demands.

DOUBLE COMPENSATION

“I’ll release the video as I have invested so much money in it. Plus, I contracted an agency and they came with the vixens. You can’t ask too many questions when it comes to videos. All I know is that the models are contracted from a modelling agency, so I had no way of knowing who she really was on set,” Timmy said.

The rapper says editing the MP’s daughter will disrupt the whole concept of the video since she features prominently and as such he will need double compensation because it will amount to redoing the video afresh.

“They will have to compensate me in double, for the time and money. If they refund double, I will shoot a video without the chic,” he said.

This is not the first time such a scenario is popping up. In May 2015, rapper Colonel Moustapha had to redo his raunchy video Dodoma Singida after he was compensated a sum of Sh700,000 he had demanded from a renowned politician whose girlfriend had been featured in the song as the main video vixen.
