Sauti Sol Instagram taken over by skimpily dressed dancers
A dance competition launched by Kenya award winning music group, Sauti Sol, that will see the winner walk away with a cash price of Sh 51,000, has driven women to flood the group’s social media pages with videos of raunchy dance styles.
Sauti Sol and Ugandan singer Bebe Cool launched the competition on April 17 and is expected to end on Wednesday, April 26 when the winner would have been announced.
The requirements were for an individual or group to record themselves dancing to the artiste’s latest song, Mbozi za Malwa. The recordings have to be uploaded using the hashtag #mbozizamalwa.
The contest has attracted numerous entries from contestants who are giving their all to outdo each other to be crowned the best dancer of East Africa.
According to Sauti Sol, the competition has been extended till next week.
