Radio queen Kalekye Mumo leaves Kiss FM

Radio queen Kalekye Mumo has left Kiss 100’s breakfast show. Ms Mumo’s exit was announced by the radio station on Wednesday as it introduced the presenter who would take on her role.

According to a statement by the station, Adelle Onyango will lead the breakfast show team as Ms Mumo left to “pursue other interests.”

Radio Africa Group’s Chief Executive Patrick Quarcoo said, “We wish her well in her future endeavors. We are looking at new long-term changes to grow KISSFM.”

The radio personality-turned singer neither posted any goodbye messages to her fans nor insinuated her exit during Tuesday’s morning show.

MESSAGES OF FREEDOM

Ms Mumo’s Twitter and Instagram posts on Wednesday morning only conveyed messages of freedom of not being afraid to disappoint and working hard for what one wants.

It’s not clear what made her leave although there were murmurs that she has had a running disagreement with Radio Africa queen Caroline Mutoko.

Two months ago during her 40th birthday, the radio queen launched her new YouTube channel dubbed, The Me I Want where she discusses a variety of fitness related topics.

Ms Mumo unveiled her new look during her star-studded all-white birthday party disclosing that he had lost 40kgs.
