Pastor comes to the rescue of jailed anal sex socialite
A pastor has come to the rescue of popular Tanzanian video vixen and socialite Amber Rutty, who has been incarcerated for weeks, after she was filmed having anal sex.
Amber, whose real name is Rutfiya Abubakari, has been in remand for over three weeks following her arrest over a leaked video clip which captured her having anal sex with other two men, one of them being her boyfriend Said Bakary.
BAIL CASH
A court in Kisutu, Dar es Salaam remanded Amber after she failed to secure at least two guarantors or raise cash for bail.
However, after being in prison for 25 days, Amber finally walked to freedom, for the time being, after Pastor Daud Mashimo of Emmaus Bible Church bailed her out.
The second guarantor was identified as Aisha Mohammed.
JAIL SENTENCE
Each of the guarantors was required to raise a bond of Tsh15 million (Sh664,348), for a total of Sh1.3 million.
Amber is facing two counts of indulging in anal sex and sharing explicit content on social platform.
Under Tanzanian laws, anal sex is prohibited and hence if found guilty the socialite risks a jail term of up to 30 years or a life imprisonment.
