Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza is increasingly gaining popularity among Kenyan youths for his looks.

This despite the fact that the Burundian Head of State has seen his popularity ratings hit a new low lately in his county following his decision to seek a third term in office contray to the provisions of the constitution.

In the wake of the move, there have been wide spread dissent from the public within and outside the country which were heightened by a failed coup.

BARBER SHOPS

Operators of barbers shops in Nairobi are however putting to good use the negative publicity that Burundian leader has been attracting.

A number of charts displaying the latest shaving styles within the barber shops in Nairobi bear the image of a clean shaven Nkurunziza.

“He is not only handsome, but bears an appealing look and his clean shaven style is increasingly popular with our customers aged between 40-50 years,” said a barber based in Nairobi’s CBD.

The Burundian Head of State joins a popular elite list that includes footballers Theo Walcott, Samuel Eto’o and Niklas Anelka, alongside his colleague Laurent Kabila of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in having his image on the barber shop charts.
