My nephew killed Tupac, man confesses in new Netflix docuseries
A man has claimed to knowing the gunman who pulled the trigger and killed rapper Tupac Shakur, 22 years since the death of the famous ‘Dear Mama’ rapper.
Duane Keith Davis, popularly known as Keefe D, confessed that it was his nephew, Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson who pulled the trigger on rapper Tupac on that fateful day of September 7, 1996 as he made way for a performance that never happened.
According to Daily Mail online, Keefe D made the big revelation while filming the 10-part Netflix docuseries ‘Unsolved, the Tupac and Biggie Murders’.
He said that problems began when Anderson’s attempt to steal a Death Row Records medallion from a member of Tupac’s entourage failed and he was beaten by the entourage for his actions.

The incident happened after the ‘Do for Love’ hit maker and his crew affiliated to Los Angeles gang known as ‘The Bloods’ left the MGM Grand that night after watching a Mike Tyson fight.
Smarting from the beating, Anderson –a member of a rival gang going by the name Southside Crips– planned a revenge on Tupac knowing that he was due to perform at 662 Club in Las Vegas.
In company of three other men; Terrence ‘T-Brown’ Brown who was behind the wheel, Keefe D himself who was in the front passenger seat, Anderson and DeAndre ‘Dre’ Smith in the back, hopped into their Cadillac car to dish out their revenge.
Keefe D, the only surviving member of the four guys, said that they pulled up next to Tupac’s car where he was together with Death Row Records label boss Suge Knight.

He handed over the gun to DeAndre Dre who refused to pull the trigger on the rapper before Anderson, who was sitting in the backseat, pulled the trigger on the rapper who was in the front passenger seat of his BMW.
Tupac later died on September 13, 1996 and his killer Anderson in 1998 in a shoot-out in the same city.
The executive producer of Netflix’s Unsolved, Kyle Long, has called on Las Vegas police department to pursue Keefe D.
“He went live on television and confessed to being an accessory to murder and the Las Vegas PD, as far as I know, is doing nothing about it,” said Long.
