Content creators, media and influencers were on Thursday evening treated to a jazz cocktail party by Movenpick Hotel and Residences to welcome the 2020 festive season.

Movenpick partnered with cognac maker Hennessy at the event to also celebrate and reflect on the unpredictable year that 2020 has been due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The collaboration with Hennessy is meant to foster new ways to make cocktails, a much-needed culinary experience to not only entertain guests but also have them end the year in style.

Movenpick is also set to entertain guests with a series of feasts as the festive season kicks in, with celebrations such as corporate end year parties and Christmas eve fetes.

At the event attended by 25 guests who observed Covid-19 rules strictly, hotel general manager Michael Flint said the Mövenpick-Hennessy will offer guests quality services and products.

“We are excited particularly at a time when the hospitality industry is slowly returning to higher levels of business, of course in adherence to the government’s directives regarding the Covid-19 pandemic,” noted Flint.

Notable celebrities who graced the occasion included socialite Corazon Kwamboka and his boyfriend fitness instructor Frankie Kiarie, as well as content creators Amar Jonathan, Brenda Kwamboka and stylist Winnie Odande.
