Khaligraph Jones wins praises for his new song ‘Micasa Sucasa’
Last week, rapper Khaligraph Jones released a new song with his girlfriend Cashy titled Micasa Sucasa (Spanish for my house is your house) and the reviews from his peers are nothing short of glowing. But one, in particular, had the normally surly rapper very excited.
Veteran Tanzanian rapper and Member of Parliament for Mikumi Constituency Joseph Haule, popularly known as Professor Jay, is very impressed with Khaligraph’s latest project.
He wrote on Instagram: “Huyu jamaa ni hatari sana. Anaitwa @Khaligraph_Jones. @Khaligraph_Jones nilimiss sana michano, milazo na micharazo ya namna hii, (This man called Khaligraph is dangerously good. I had missed this kind of flow and writing)”, he wrote.
PRIVATE LIFE
Khaligraph, real name Brian Robert Ouko, was ecstatic, telling Showbuzz; “Professor Jay is an OG, if he endorses you then it means you’re on the right path. I was very happy when I saw that. It motivates me to do more.”
The rapper revealed that they are actually friends and they keep in touch regularly on WhatsApp. This is the second song Khaligraph has worked on with his girlfriend; the first one, Reaching Out, was released three years ago.
Although their relationship is not a secret, Khaligraph says they want to keep their private life private.
“When too many people get involved in a relationship, everything becomes confusing. I’m not going to be one of those people… for different reasons; it doesn’t feel right to publicise our relationship. Yes, we can mention it here and there but I want people to talk about the music,” he said.
