Excitement as NMG launches new youth magazine

The Nation Media Group has unveiled a new exciting pullout which will be published every Friday in the Daily Nation.

Dubbed My Network, the new magazine replaces Zuqka, which was also a hit among the youth.

The new magazine has been developed to serve the youth who want information, which will help them advance their university lives and prepare them for the job market and entrepreneurship.

Caroline Njung’e, the magazine’s editor says, “The new magazine will challenge you to aim higher, and also give you a chance to tell your story.”

She adds that it’s a magazine that talks to today’s ambitious young person.

“That is how I would describe My Network. This magazine is for that young person who would like to start his own company, that young person who would like to know how to make a good first impression on his interview, get ahead in the workplace and stand out from colleagues,” says Njung’e.

The magazine will also highlight what today’s young person wants and motivate them to be the best they can be.

The content pillars of the magazine revolve around relevant topics to university students including careers, education, and mentorship while retaining their interests in fashion, tech and entertainment.

My Network is centered on the strength of team work and power of networks as key drivers of success.

The launch event will take place at Kenyatta University on Friday, 1st April. The event will feature mentorship camps, competitions and student activations aimed at causing excitement, interest and buy-in of the students by bringing alive My Network.

NTV’s The trend, hosted by Larry Madowo, will be aired live from Kenyatta University Amphitheatre from 6pm.
