Comedian Churchill meets Governor Munya ahead of Meru show

Comedian Dan Ndambuki, better known as Churchill,  met with Meru Governor Peter Munya on Friday ahead of his show in Meru town.

The show will be hosted at Meru Teaching and Training Institute.

The Governor has assured of security during the Churchill Show event.

Governor Munya talked of the need to tap talent in the county, adding that his government will partner with the Churchill Show to help Meru youth explore their talents.

“Currently Meru has no comedians, but with this partnership I am sure we will nurture many young talents from this county,” he said during the meeting at his office.

Mr Ndambuki praised the Meru talent academy for keeping the youth from engaging in criminal activities and drug abuse.

“I call on the youth to put effort in their talents and nurture them. Not everyone will be lucky to be employed so people can exploit their talent and earn from them.

“I also ask the youth to never give up in life. I see that Governor Munya is also young and understands the potential of the entertainment industry,” he added.
