Is he, after all, the mysterious ‘Somali guy’ that dated media personality Betty Kyallo? Kenyans online seem to think so after Alinur Mohammed uploaded an interesting post on social media.

Mohammed, posted a photo of himself and Betty taken outside the latter’s salon, Flair by Betty.

According to Mohammed the two spent Wednesday afternoon together at the salon.

“Was delighted to spend the better part of today’s evening with @bettymuteikyallo at her place. Was glad to interact with her. Betty is one of those ordinary women doing extraordinary things in our society. Like many other women, she has had to beat many odds to reach this far,” wrote Alinur Mohammed.

SPECULATION

Betty responded saying, “Aaaaaw thank you for the kind words Alinur … It was so nice having you around. Come back soon.”

Mohammed made headlines in January after his name was linked to the ‘Somali guy’ that Betty was rumoured to be dating.

The blossoming friendship between the two has been the subject of speculation whether Mohammed is the actual ‘Somali guy’ despite him denying it.

Mohammed however denied the claims saying that he is a committed family man.

Interestingly, Betty and Mohammed’s hangout come just days after the former TV presenter revealed why she broke up with the said ‘Somali guy’.

BREAKUP

In a recent interview with comedian Jalang’o, Betty said the relationship simply didn’t work.

“It didn’t work out. The thing is, things don’t work out sometimes with people and it’s okay, its fine. I don’t know why we have so much stigma about relationships and how you should act and you should last forever. Sometimes things work out, sometimes things hit a rock and it’s okay, mnaachana kwa uzuri,” she said.

The mother of one also noted that after parting ways with the ‘Somali guy’, she made a decision to stay single at least for a year before getting into any relationship.
