Cheating lovebirds found ‘stuck’ after committing the act
Residents of Daraja Mbili Market and Nyanchwa Estate in Kisii town were treated to drama on Thursday when two lovebirds who were allegedly cheating on their spouses got ‘stuck’ while partaking the forbidden fruit.
Eye witnesses said the two had booked a room at West Gauge Hotel in the busy market but were soon heard shouting for help when they realised they could not disentangle.
The woman is said to have left her home on early Thursday morning and headed to her workplace at the market where she is a trader.
“But it seems she left for some other important work only known best to her and her lover,” said Mr Elijah Nyakundi, an eyewitness.
It is reported that the woman’s husband, who suspected his wife of infidelity, had sought the services of a local witchdoctor said to be from Kitui. The woman’s lover is also said to be married.
A curios and excited crowd gathered outside the hotel where they had rented a room.
UNLOCKING THEM
Most demanded that the two be shamed by being exposed. They had initially been covered with blankets by Good Samaritans.
“This behaviour of married people cheating on their partners has become rampant here and should be condemned. We do not want women who are a disgrace to our society. Those who suspect their partners should be encouraged to take similar steps,” said one witness, who identified herself as Ms Anna Kerubo.
Residents praised the witch doctor who allegedly performed the ritual saying such would help weed out immorality in the town.
The two were taken to Nyanchwa estate some kilometers away from the Daraja Mbili market where the witch doctor is located.
The witch doctor, Ms Annet Mutheu, from Kitui said she tackles all problems and diseases and was only doing her work as requested by her client.
“The man preying on another man’s wife will foot the bill for unlocking them,” she said.
She said she was on a mission to end immorality in Kisii.
