Chameleone fed up of Ugandan media, threatens to relocate to Kenya
Popular musician Jose Chameleone has hit out at Ugandan journalists for being “too jealous”, a development he adds could force him to relocate to Kenya.
According to various Ugandan media reports, the singer renowned for various hits including Valu Valu, Tubonge and Wale Wale, is fed up with the consistent negative publicity he has been receiving from the various media outlets.
The Ugandan media has in the past accused the 37 year old musician of among other things fighting his siblings, faking accidents, and failing to build a “decent” house in his rural home despite raking in “hundreds of millions” from the sale of his music and countless concerts.

“Ugandan journalists, you are so jealous unlike the Kenyan media. I will go back to those people who support me,” Chameleone reportedly said during one of his highly attended events in Kampala this past weekend.
Chameleone whose real names is Jackson Mayanja is one of the wealthiest musician in the region who also boasts a decade and a half experience in the industry.
His songs, a majority of which he sings in Kiswahili, are widely appreciated by music lovers in Kenya.
The musician began his music career in Kenya back in 2000, when he released his first album Bageya.
Radio presenter Maina Kageni has always claimed that back in 2002, Chameleone who hails from a family of music talents, would beg him to give airplay to one of his first songs Mama Mia which went on to be a hit single.
