Celebrations in Kisumu after Nasa declares ‘victory’ – PHOTOS
Residents of Kisumu town poured to the streets on Thursday evening to celebrate the ‘victory’ of the opposition coalition, National Super Alliance (Nasa).
This was moments after Nasa principals had held a televised press conference to demand that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declares their candidate Raila Odinga winner of the presidential contest.
The residents flooded the city centre, Mamboleo Estate and Nyalenda Estate for the celebrations.
