Police looking for car that hit, killed policeman in Kangemi
Police are looking for a car that hit and killed a police officer on Waiyaki way at Kangemi on Friday afternoon.
According to police report, the driver of the motor vehicle registration KCA 345U Honda Stream hit the officer who was off road.
The report adds that the car was being driven from Kikuyu area towards city center when the accident occurred.
The police officer sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to MP Shah Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are appealing to members of the public to help them find the car and the driver who escaped after hitting the officer.
In Limuru town, four people died in a nightclub brawl over the theft of a reveler’s mobile phone.
Police at the scene said three suspected thugs stabbed a security guard three times as he tried to accost them in a bid to get the phone back.
After the stabbing, boda boda operators who witnessed the incident confronted the thugs, beating them to death.
The security guard succumbed to his knife wounds while being rushed to Limuru Nursing Home for treatment.
