Buruburu man charged with his wife’s murder
A hotel manager, who allegedly strangled his wife over allegations of engaging in extra-marital affairs, has been charged with murder.
Mr Paul Odhiambo Ogunde allegedly strangled Agnes Mwikali Mutua with an electric cable on the night of June 8, at Buru Buru Estate in Nairobi County.
He denied the offence before Justice Nicholas Ombija and will remain in remand for the next six months before his case begins in January.
The couple had a 10-month-old baby.
A psychiatrist’s report confirmed that Mr Ogunde is of sound mind and can stand trial.
