Build railway stations where commuters are

February 28th, 2014 1 min read

Construction of new railway stations in Makadara, Syokimau and Imara Daima has in a way beautified the city, but the issue still burning in most Nairobians’ minds is what are they meant for if they are not in the places where they are needed?

If the need for railway stations was paramount; then they should have been built at Mutindwa, Dandora or Doonholm where many rail transport users are.

It is really mind-boggling to see commuters in these areas stand as they wait for the train and the risks they face.
