Bring on petition to sack governor Kidero
Matatu crews should go ahead and seek a million signatures to sack Governor Kidero. We needed this yesterday. I will willingly sign their petition. A building permit used to cost Sh25,000, but now one has to spend a whopping Sh100,000.
There is no justification for such an increase and in spite of complaints, Dr Kidero is adamant the charges will stay. It goes without say that developers will soon transfer the costs to tenants. I will sign the petition or go back upcountry.
