Boda boda rider wins SportPesa jackpot after trying for two years


A 34-year old boda boda rider is the latest SportPesa jackpot winner having correctly predicted the outcomes of 13 football matches in this week’s jackpot games.

The elated Geoffrey Kipng’etich said it was a dream come true having started to bet two years ago.

He was introduced to betting by a friend he fondly refers to as Roba.

Mr Kipng’etich, a resident of Keringet District, Nakuru County, has two wives and three kids.

He placed a bet with Sh300 to win the Sh12,646,353.

His win comes two weeks after Lessos resident Shadrack Kitur bagged Sh22.8 million jackpot.

Mr Kipng’etich said he will use the money to pay fees for his children, buy a plot and build a house.

Following his good fortune, Mr Kipng’etich who has never had a bank account opened his first one at Co-operative Bank, Molo.
