BLOG: Mr President, please do not talk about Raila today in Murang’a
A blogger has penned a bold letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta as he tours Murang’a County on Tuesday urging him to listen to wananchi and provide solutions instead of discrediting opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The long post on Facebook by Wahome Thuku, a supporter-turned-critic of the president, has since been shared more than 300 times and attracted 500 comments.
Mr Thuku said he listened to the views of the Murang’a people on radio and concluded that they are hurting and the issues expressed are the ones President Kenyatta should concentrate on.
In his Monday tour of Laikipia and Nyeri, President Kenyatta lashed out at Mr Odinga blaming him and the previous administration for the status of the economy and even branding him as a liar.
Blogger Thuku’s write up elicited mixed reactions but majority of the commenters were in support of the President focusing on major issues.
