‘Bling’ names his Lionesses squad for Africa Sevens
The Kenya Lionesses squad to the Africa Cup Sevens in Harare, Zimbabwe on 17th/18th September was announced on Wednesday morning by Head Coach Kevin “Bling” Wambua.
Sinaida Aura and Cynthia Camilla are the only changes to the side that finished eleventh at the Rio Olympics in August.
Wambua said, ” Aura and Camilla both have big game experience. It was unfortunate that they missed out on the Rio Olympics but having played in Hong Kong and the Women’s Sevens World Series in France, they certainly have plenty to offer. It is their chance to show us what they can do.”
The Lionesses are in Pool B with Madagascar, Uganda and Tunisia.
