By CHAD KITUNDU November 29th, 2018 1 min read

After close to four months of waiting, news anchor Betty Kyallo’s fans will finally see her lively face on their screens again when she debuts on K24 TV.

This after the flamboyant presenter revealed that she would soon be premiering on K24’s weekend edition.

The former KTN news anchor had initially indicated that she would make her debut on the station last Friday.

SHOCKING EXIT

“Finally! I’ve missed you. Thank you at K24 for a warm welcome,” she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.

About two weeks ago, Betty, who made a shocking exit from KTN in August, posted a photo of herself on the balcony of DSM Place along Kijabe Street, Nairobi from where the Mediamax Network-owned TV station broadcasts.

Betty is expected to fill the gap left by Richard Kagoe, who joined BBC, and Michelle Morgan, who quit to pursue personal interests.

LOW PROFILE

Since her exit from KTN, Betty has kept a low profile, only updating her online followers on her vacations and road trips.

During her final show on KTN on August 3, Betty cried hysterically as her colleagues bid her farewell with a cake live on air.

Prior to her resignation, Betty had been a news presenter at KTN for three years and has previously never worked in any other media house.
