Barasa: I’m not afraid of the grim reaper
Film director Simiyu Barasa says he is scared that he could be next in line after he lost three of his college mates and a lecturer within a week (due to unrelated circumstances).
On his Facebook page Wednesday, Simiyu, said he was now writing his funeral programme.
“When my time comes, please follow the callsheet,” he said on his status update. After his followers started mocking him that his death is the only film he can never direct, he wrote to say that it was mandatory for his people to follow the wishes of the dead, at least according to his traditions.
“I am always prepared, I wasn’t joking that I have my funeral programme ready,” said the Toto Millionaire director on phone.
