Avril gets born again, promises a collabo with Christina Shusho

Kenyan musician Judith Nyambura aka Avril on Saturday repeated the sinner’s prayer during a campus event at the Catholic University of East Africa.

The ‘Nikimuona’ hitmaker was attending the national auditions for ‘Dreams Come True‘ where she gave a motivational speech to the young people in attendance.

Other celebrities AT the event were television presenters Johnson Mwakazi and Citizen TV’s Kanze Dena.

A video from the event has surfaced showing the sassy singer repeating the sinner’s prayer at the podium and later being prayed for.

In the video, uploaded by a user VMobileKenya, Avril is seen repeating the repentance prayer after which she smiles cheekily.

Moments later, a woman who says she represents her mother prays for her as she is tucked on her shoulder.

The user has also uploaded another video of Avril agreeing to do a collabo with Christina Shusho amid cheers from the crowds.

The singer has however refused to confirm her salvation after being asked by a user on twitter. She replied, “No comment.”

It is still unclear if indeed she got saved or she was just being prayed for. Efforts by Nairobi News to contact her on phone for a confirmation were fruitless because her phone was off.

Of interest is her cheeky reaction after reciting the sinner’s prayer. Was she just doing it for fun?

The former Ogopa Djs artist has been working on various projects with Rabbit, including a collabo that she recently released titled, ‘Ninaweza.’
