Angry parents accuse rape claim student of using sex toy in school

July 5th, 2018 1 min read

Parents at a school in which a student claimed she was sexually assaulted have refuted the girl’s allegations and instead accused the teenager of using a sex toy, which injured her private parts.

The Kirigaraga Girls School student told the police that she was waylaid at the school, sexually assaulted, then forced to recant the story by teachers.

But on Wednesday, the school’s Parents Teachers Association Chairman Daniel Mwenda, said they had investigated the issue and now believe that the rape allegation was not true.

TARNISH SCHOOL’S IMAGE

They condemned the girl and her parent as liars who wanted to tarnish the school’s image.

“We have asked our daughters and they have said that it was a lie and the girl wanted to be transferred from the school. If it was true, our children would have demonstrated against the act but, as you can see, they are still in class,” the PTA chairman.

The student told the Nation on Monday that she was waylaid by three masked people as she was going to the toilet.

COVERED FACES

“It was on Friday at 2 am when I woke up to go to the toilet. I was kidnapped by several people who had covered their faces. They applied some substance on my nose which made me lose consciousness,” the girl said.

She added that when she regained consciousness, she found herself in a different dormitory, naked, with aching breasts and bleeding private parts.
