This is the amount Boniface Mwangi has raised from netizens


Starehe constituency parliamentary candidate Boniface Mwangi has raised Sh1.7 million from Kenyans who support his candidature.

The activist turned politician, in a recent update, intimated that 80 per cent of his sponsors donated sh300 and below.

He had asked netizens to support with as little as sh10 in his bid to raise sh10 million for his campaign.

REAL CHANGE

“This means that many ordinary Kenyans, like you and me, are hungry to see real change in our country and are willing to use our own resources in order to make it happen. With your help we’ve raised KES1.7 million to date. Asanteni sana. We need more of you to help me get to parliament,” said Mwangi in his Thankyou message to Kenyans.

Mwangi will be vying on an Ukweli Party ticket and will battle it out with ODM’s Steve Mbogo and Jubilee’s Charles Njagua.

His vision is to have a constituency where human and social rights are available to all.

Mwangi will be focusing on five main areas of job creation, improve education and make it accessible for all, ensure a clean environment for all, better housing and justice for all if elected as MP.
